Olivia Fern is an English Folk singer songwriter and musician, who in 2019 released her debut long player.
I believe she is working on a new album at the moment, due for release some time this year, but I came across “Calling Us Home” and just had to share it with you.
It’s a hauntingly beautiful recording that intrinsicly links mankind with the earth, evoking powerful messages of the fragility of life and earth in all it’s beauty.
Olivia’s vocals are strong and clear, backed by spare guitar and some atmospheric drumbeats that at times prove quite hypnotic.
On the evidence of this superb record, I look forward with anticipation to the new release.
