Ned’s soulful falsetto vocals a perfect vehicle for lyrics steeped in emotion, backed by languorous shuffling drum beats, simply picked guitar, the occasional expressive harmonica, strings and the odd flourishes of keyboard will have you rapt in a dream like spell throughout.
